Understand wServer -- as an operating system (OS):

wServer is a modular parts based operating system. Within the 'operating system' (OS), all objects expose interfaces to interact for the benefit of other objects and processes. In this manner, the set of subsystems provide services -- as a system. All of the parts work together to perform
specific operating tasks within the whole system. The layout of wServer contains two major layers: user mode and kernel mode. See the modes and subsystems - below.
