See the following example of an application for a school district:
Collect information on 'open enrollment' via a Web page.
Collect info from parents on a public Web site - via 'add a Form Designer'.
Enable parents to type enrollment info into an 'open enrollment' form.
The form connects to a list in the Business Apps & Contact Manager sections of Live Small Business.
For example, if an enrollment office wants parents to request enrollment online
then the enrollment office can add a parent-input form to the public Web site
and connect it to a list named 'Open Enrollment' form in Business App.
When a parent types their info into the form
then the form is automatically saved in the 'Open Enrollment' forms list.
Note: 'Customer info' cannot be collected for lists located in the Doc Mgr app.
Caution:
Do not use the Form Designer to collect sensitive data, like SS#, credit card #, financial account
#s, or other data that should be encrypted during transfer from a parent's browser.
Info submitted with Form Designer is sent in a clear, unencrypted format across the Internet.
If sensitive data is collected, use a provider that offers SSL-enabled hosting.
Add (Post) a form to my public Web site.
If Business Apps or Contact Mgr is used,
go to the Sharing Sidebar and select Forms.
Or, for more flexibility, go to Web designer
and add a Form Designer to choose my own template,
or add multiple modules to my page.
