Serve_terminals:

Terminal Services -- Connect remotely to the machine using the Remote Desktop feature.

Enable users to establish a session on the server from devices that connects to the network.
Many terminals can attach and obtain interactive sessions.

The kernel includes a Win32 subsystem to support interactive sessions running in the server's allocated process space.

Make numerous copies of the Win32 subsystem, and you have Terminal Services in action.

Terminal Services are not managed separately from the rest of the server.
Manage a few user-specific settings related to sessions and session activity.
